An old heirloom tomato the Yellow Gooseberry Cherry Tomato is believed to originate from the original Yellow Cherry pre-1830’s. There are mentions of this variety in Fearing Burr’s ‘The Field and Garden Guide’ in 1865. This rare heirloom variety was later made available by John Hartman and Daughters Seed Company of Indiana in the late 1860’s.
